My wonderful daughter
It was her 15th birthday yesterday, how time goes fast!
Big changes, the baby ,small girl, always stuck to mummy. Now is becoming an independent beautiful woman. Starting a new school this year, working at the zoo this summer and going by train to Lisbon.
Yesterday her birthday she went with friends with the bus to the beach.
How proud am I of her, what she is making of her life!

In the best possible way, I envy you. Envy as in admire, not jealous. I say this because you have something, know something, are something that I have can never been & can never be. A child, parenthood, a parent. Sad for the emptiness that is my greatest regret. But glad to know that not only to know what you have, but live it to the full and appreciate it exactly for what it is: Rather than the millions who complain that their children get in the way, are too difficult, too selfish - particularly teenagers - you celebrate your daughter and speak of her with convincing pride and love. How precious that is. May she bring you only joy, always.
And just for you, I'll sign off as Swiss Tony (I feel like I just grew out of him somehow and feel much more like the other persona these days, sorry)

ofcourse the most beautiful one, and she is half dutch so the most light one
Your daughter turned 15 on the tenth; my youngest turned 13 on the twelfth. They turn from little girls to young women in about six minutes - it's magical and disconcerting all at once!

Bedankt voor je commentaar op mijn blog! Ik ben natuurlijk meteen even gaan kijken op het jouwe en stuit op deze post! Ik kijk naar de datum en je gelooft het niet maar mijn dochter is 21 geworden op 10 juli! Hoe toevallig !:):)
Ik heb er toen ook bijgeschreven hoe trots ik op haar ben.
Je foto's vind ik gewoonweg prachtig ! Ik ga nog lekker even verder neuzen hier ! Zo mooi allemaal :)
